On Saturday, the Israeli army reported that during an air force operation in Iranian airspace, an attempt was made to fire a surface-to-air missile at an Israeli fighter jet, which was unsuccessful. Hours earlier, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps claimed that an F-16 fighter jet from the Israeli military was struck by advanced air defense systems in central Iran.
