The Wall Street Journal reports that the U.S. has proposed a framework to the Islamic Republic of Iran, calling for 30 days of negotiations leading to the dismantling of nuclear facilities at Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan, a 20-year halt to uranium enrichment, and immediate inspections of suspicious sites. The proposal also includes gradual reopening of the Strait of Hormuz and conditional lifting of sanctions based on actual implementation of commitments.
