On Friday, AFP reported via a US official that the USS Gerald Ford aircraft carrier has departed the Middle East following military operations against Iran and is now under the jurisdiction of the US European Command. The USS Gerald Ford had been at sea for over 10 months and was previously stationed in the Red Sea before temporarily leaving the CENTCOM area for repairs.
