Protests

The prison warden reported that Islamic Republic officials have not delivered the bodies of four executed protesters — Mohammad Amin Biglari, Shahin Vahidparast Kalur, Amirhossein Hatami, and Ali Fahim — to their families following a fire at a Basij base in eastern Tehran. According to Article 49 of the Regulations on the Execution of Capital Punishments, judicial authorities are obligated to hand over the bodies to the families, but this has not been done.
