Emmanuel Macron, President of France, reiterated during a press conference in Athens on Saturday his focus on efforts to reopen the Strait of Hormuz in accordance with international law to ensure freedom of navigation. Macron emphasized that more than a dozen countries have offered to join an international mission led by France and Britain to protect shipping in the strait, amid the ongoing conflict between the United States, Israel, and Iran.
