Satellite imagery on April 11 identified a vessel matching the USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier at the eastern edge of the Sea of Oman, approximately 190 kilometers from Iran's coast. The U.S. Navy also deployed 11 destroyers, three amphibious assault ships, and one littoral combat ship in Middle East waters, though no warships are present in the Persian Gulf or west of the Strait of Hormuz.
