An hour after announcing an attack on the South Pars refinery facilities in Asaluyeh, Iran, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) issued an urgent warning for the evacuation of oil and gas facilities in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates, naming specific refineries and gas fields as potential targets. The IRGC warned citizens, residents, and employees to immediately abandon the Samref and Jubail petrochemical complex refineries in Saudi Arabia, the Al Hosn gas field in the UAE, and the Mesaieed petrochemical complex and Ras Laffan refinery in Qatar, urging them to relocate to safe areas without delay.
