Ali Motahhari, former deputy speaker of the Iranian parliament, stated that Ali Larijani, former secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, was killed in attacks attributed to Israel and the United States on the night of the 27th of Ramadan. Motahhari described Larijani's body as severely damaged, suggesting he was engaged in worship at the time of the attack.
