Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced to Al Arabiya that it had shot down several Iranian drones near its airspace and stressed the need for reopening the Strait of Hormuz and ensuring regional security through diplomatic means. The ministry also stated that Gulf countries support diplomatic efforts to avoid war and end attacks by the Islamic Republic.
