The Supreme Court of Iran has upheld the death sentence for Sasan Azadvār Jonqāni, a 21-year-old athlete detained during the Dey 1404 protests. Azadvār Jonqāni is currently held in solitary confinement at Dastgerd Prison in Isfahan, where he was previously sentenced to death and imprisonment by Branch One of the Isfahan Revolutionary Court on charges including "enmity against God."
