Ebrahim Azizi, head of the National Security Commission of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, announced that under the "Strategic Action for Ensuring the Security and Sustainable Development of the Strait of Hormuz" plan, transit fees through the Strait of Hormuz must be paid using Iran's national currency.
