On 20 Esfand 1404 (March 11, 2026), a Thai cargo ship, the "Mayuree Naree," was targeted by two projectiles from IRGC forces while passing through the Strait of Hormuz, approximately 18 kilometers north of Oman. The Embassy of the Islamic Republic in Thailand later announced that the ship passed through the strait peacefully due to cooperation between Iran, Oman, and Thailand.
