Arrests

Judge Abolqasem Salavati of the Tehran Revolutionary Court sentenced Tara Davoudi and Kimia Davoudi to a total of 16 years in prison; Kimia received 10 years and Tara received 6 years. The sisters, arrested during the Lion and Sun Revolution in late December 2024, are currently held in Evin Prison's women's ward.
