The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates condemned in a statement the infiltration by members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps via the Navy of the Islamic Republic onto Kuwait's Bubiyan Island, describing it as part of a "terrorist plot" to carry out hostile operations. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE's Foreign Minister, expressed full solidarity with Kuwait in a message to Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya, Kuwait's Foreign Minister.
