The UN Independent Fact-Finding Committee on Iran Human Rights expressed severe concern on Friday over the conditions of detainees in Iran following the onset of the war, as well as the prolonged and nearly complete internet shutdown in the country. The committee also highlighted the arrest of protesters from December 2024 and subsequent war-related detentions, internet censorship, suppression of civil society activists, and recent executions under security charges.
