Reuters, citing shipping data from Kepler, reported that only five ships passed through the Strait of Hormuz on Sunday compared to 26 on Saturday, following Tehran's announcement of the waterway's renewed closure "due to Israel's and America's violation of the temporary peace agreement." The five ships included three very large oil tankers carrying two million barrels of Saudi Arabian crude oil and fuel oil, one destined for Japan.
