On Monday, May 11, the Tasnim News Agency reported that an Iraqi oil tanker named "Agos Fanourios 1" carrying Iraqi crude oil was allowed to pass through the Strait of Hormuz on Sunday and is now in the Sea of Oman en route to Vietnam. Reuters reported that the passage was approved by the Islamic Republic as a confidence-building measure with Qatar and Pakistan, which have been mediating in the conflict between the United States, Israel, and Iran.
