On Tuesday, April 4, 2025, Amnesty International described U.S. President Donald Trump's threat to attack Iran's power plants and energy infrastructure as a "threat to commit a war crime" and called for the immediate withdrawal of these statements. The organization also urged Iran to cease reciprocal threats against civilian infrastructure in other countries.
