Mike Waltz, the U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, accused the Islamic Republic of Iran of "holding the world economy hostage" and criticized Russia and China for supporting Iran, which he called the "world's biggest state sponsor of terrorism." Waltz said Iran began its work 47 years ago by taking Americans hostage and is now targeting the global economy to preserve its illegal nuclear program.
