Mohammad Akbarzadeh, the political deputy of the IRGC Navy, stated that there is a consensus among the government, parliament, and armed forces to establish a new legal regime for the Strait of Hormuz, giving Iran control over which ships pass through and which oil is exported. He also claimed that Iran has turned the enemy's threats against them, suggesting retaliatory missile strikes.
