The Navy of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has designated a new ship passage route in the Strait of Hormuz, named the "Lark Corridor" or "Path of Authority," requiring permission from the IRGC for its use. The route extends from the south of Hormuz Island to the south of Lark Island.

The Iranian Human Rights Organization reported the widespread arrest of at least 3,646 Iranians since the beginning of recent conflicts, starting from late February of the previous year following widespread protests.
