The Tasnim news agency, affiliated with the IRGC, quoted a source close to the Islamic Republic's negotiating team as saying that the Strait of Hormuz will not be reopened unless Israel's attacks in Lebanon cease and the blockade is lifted. The source added that the release of blocked Iranian assets and the implementation of measures against Israel in Lebanon are prerequisites for reopening the waterway and lifting economic sanctions.
