On Friday, former US President Donald Trump reiterated on TruthSocial that an agreement with Iran regarding the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz is unrelated to Lebanon, emphasizing that the US will separately support Lebanon and manage the Hezbollah issue appropriately. Prior to this, Trump had also stated in a post about enriched uranium from Iran that the agreement does not relate to Lebanon.
