Masoud Pezeshkian, in a phone conversation with the Prime Minister of India on Thursday, stated that the Islamic Republic was not the initiator of the war and has no desire to continue it. He also said that based on the right to legitimate defense, they targeted U.S. bases in regional countries that were the origin of the attack.
