A Greek-owned cargo ship, the Liberian-flagged Epaminondas, sustained heavy damage to its bridge and navigation systems after being attacked by an IRGC gunboat in the Strait of Hormuz. The IRGC claimed to have seized the Epaminondas and another ship, the MSC Francesca, shortly after a ceasefire extension was announced by the United States.
