The Israeli Air Force mistakenly destroyed a Bell 214A Isfahan utility helicopter belonging to the Iranian Red Crescent Society at Sanandaj Airport in Kurdistan Province. The helicopter was being used for emergency medical services and had been deployed from Qazvin Airport.
