Thousands of troops from the U.S. Army’s 82nd Airborne Division have arrived in the Middle East aboard C-17A Globemaster III aircraft, preparing for potential operations to seize Iranian islands in the Strait of Hormuz. Additionally, six C-5M Super Galaxy aircraft carrying U.S. Army helicopters and Special Forces arrived earlier to support operations in Isfahan aimed at recovering enriched uranium.
