On January 9, 2026, in Isfahan, 15-year-old Ghazal Jangorban was shot by agents of the Islamic Republic regime in the Zayandeh Rud dry riverbed, sustaining three bullet wounds that led to her death. The Islamic Republic regime is accused of systematically targeting protesters, including children and teenagers, resulting in the deaths of over 40,000 Iranians in just two days.
