The Russian Africa Corps is withdrawing support from Malian military leader Assimi Goïta. This follows similar abandonments of allies such as Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro, and Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
