The U.S. Treasury's Economic Fury campaign has targeted an Iran-based procurement network led by Ali Majd Sepehr, which impersonated U.S. businesses to fraudulently acquire restricted military goods for Iran's Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics, defrauding U.S. IT companies out of millions of dollars. The network, operating through Sorena Hushmand Samaneh Company and other front entities, procured network security equipment and encryption technology from U.S. firms and transferred them to Iran via Dubai.
