The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed in a statement released on Friday that six senior members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) were killed in Lebanon. The ministry condemned the "criminal assassination of Iranian diplomats in Lebanon" and accused the Israeli military of attacking and killing several Iranian diplomats in Lebanon on February 17, 2025.
President Donald Trump of the United States has emphasized continuing military operations against the Islamic Republic of Iran and stated that there are more than 3,550 additional targets in Iran for potential attack.
