The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) has warned Iranian civilians to immediately stay away from ports around the Strait of Hormuz, stating that the Iranian Navy has deployed vessels to these civilian ports, potentially making them "legitimate military targets." CENTCOM announced that U.S. forces had targeted 16 Iranian naval mine-laying boats near the Strait of Hormuz and released video footage of the attack, following today's attacks on three ships in the southern waters of Iran, for which the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has claimed responsibility.
