The Kremlin announced that Russian President Vladimir Putin, in a phone call with Masoud Pezeshkian, reiterated Moscow's stance on the need for an immediate end to hostilities and a diplomatic resolution. Putin also expressed condolences to Pezeshkian over the death of Ali Khamenei and other government officials.
