A supertanker loaded with crude oil struck a naval mine on its way out of the Strait of Hormuz. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps says the vessel was using an "unauthorized route."

Mehdi Mahdavi-Azad said in the "Chin Andaz" program that a series of unprecedented pressures—from the threat of war to sanctions and a land, sea, and air blockade—have placed the Islamic Republic in a position that has heightened the likelihood of a new war. The Public Relations Office of the IRGC Navy announced that a supertanker carrying crude oil, which intended to exit the "unauthorized route" of the Strait of Hormuz, suffered a severe explosion due to a collision with a "sea mine." The IRGC Navy also announced that this supertanker had turned off its navigation and positioning systems. The IRGC Navy's statement concludes: "A massive fire is the inevitable fate of any rogue tanker that seeks to disregard the security and regulations of the Strait of Hormuz."

While Trump did not rule out the possibility of war breaking out before the elections on Friday, the IRGC Ground Forces announced the deployment of its commandos to the western borders, and the commander of the Islamic Republic of Iran's Army Ground Forces said he had stationed 50 combat and support units along the borders to demonstrate that Tehran considers war inevitable. Reopening of Strait of Hormuz Shipping Lanes After CENTCOM Mine Clearing/According to the published text, the U.S. Central Command, CENTCOM, has cleared sea mines from the main shipping lanes in the Strait of Hormuz, and these lanes have been declared open for vessels that do not violate U.S. maritime sanctions against the terrorist regime of the Islamic Republic. The text also claims that following the mine-clearing operation, thousands of commercial ships have passed through this international waterway with complete safety.

The IRGC just released a video showing the launch of drones towards US targets during the war. Additionally, the video shows the targeting of several oil tankers in the Strait of Hormuz. The drones used appear to be Shahed-136 and Shahed-238.

I believe there is increasingly indication that military action against Iran will begin again next month after the Mid Terms, Iran is becoming much more aggressive with strikes this month in the strait of Hormuz and the US appear to be increasingly military airbridge to the ME.

The released video shows the funeral ceremony for the body of Omid Ghanooni, a 19-year-old youth who lost his life following his arrest in Khanesar County, Isfahan Province.
