Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission, stated that any agreement between the United States and the Islamic Republic must include the immediate reopening of the Strait of Hormuz and the swift implementation of its terms. She also called for a genuine ceasefire in Lebanon to respect the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
