Hossein Shariatmadari, a representative of the Islamic Republic in the Kayhan newspaper, warned that the presence of French and British warships in the Strait of Hormuz alongside U.S. forces would be considered a declaration of war, stating that preemptive action against these warships is a recognized right and that the vessels are within range of Iran's long-range missiles and Yemen's Ansar Allah missile dominance.
