Iranian domestic news agencies report that a large gathering titled "Iran of Imam Reza in Allegiance to Mojtaba Khamenei, Leader of the Islamic Republic" will be held on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, in Tehran, along the route from Imam Hossein Square to Azadi Square.
At the request of the Islamic regime of Iran, the Dutch government has begun prosecuting Iranians who protest the presence of former and current members of the IRGC and Basij on Dutch soil. Dutch police are now enforcing these prosecutions.
Fada Hossein Maleki, a member of Iran's Parliament National Security Commission, stated that the Islamic Republic is not interested in negotiations or a ceasefire and accused the United States of obstructing talks and violating the ceasefire through actions like the blockade and pressure in the Strait of Hormuz. Maleki also warned that any threat to Iran's coastal security would affect the security of the Sea of Oman and the Persian Gulf.
