Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi announced the formation of the "Committee for Drafting Transitional Justice Regulations" in a message to the Iranian people, aimed at achieving justice for victims of five decades of suppression and injustice under the Islamic Republic. The committee, led by Dr. Shirin Ebadi, includes prominent Iranian experts from four generations and will work on establishing special courts and truth-finding commissions.

Hajar Naderi, mother of Matin Pourvizi, who was killed by government forces during protests on December 18, 2022, posted a video on her personal page showing herself next to her son's grave, stating she taught him to stand against oppression and not to hate.
