On Tuesday, June 16, the "Tuesdays No to Execution" campaign reported that prisoners facing the death penalty are on hunger strike in 56 Iranian prisons for the 125th consecutive week. The campaign noted that more than 177 prisoners have been executed since the beginning of 1405, with Qezel Hesar Prison in Tehran Province cited as a primary execution site.
