Mahmoud Nabavian, a member of Iran's Parliament National Security Commission, wrote on X that the United States has committed to lifting the maritime siege and issuing a Treasury Department waiver for Iran's oil exports and related services immediately after signing the agreement. Nabavian noted an internal contradiction in the memorandum regarding the release of frozen funds and called for a detailed report on implementation to be provided to the Iranian nation.
