On January 20, 2026, Iranian forces attacked Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia, injuring 12 U.S. service members, two of whom are in critical condition. The attack damaged several refueling aircraft and came in response to Israel's strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities in Arak and Yazd Province the previous day.
