Ahmad Vahidi has been appointed as the Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in Iran, succeeding Mohammad Pakpour who was killed in Israeli attacks on Saturday. Vahidi had previously served as the deputy Commander-in-Chief of the IRGC.
