On Friday, the Abu Dhabi government media office announced that the United Arab Emirates is accelerating the construction of an East-West Pipeline to double its oil export capacity through Fujairah by 2027, allowing the country to bypass the Strait of Hormuz. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohammed bin Zayed directed the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) to expedite the project during an Executive Committee meeting.
