The Supreme Court of Iran has upheld the death sentence for Mohammad Abbasi and a 25-year prison sentence for his daughter Fatemeh Abbasi, both detained during the December 2021 protests in Malard. Mohammad Abbasi is being held in Qezel-Hesar Prison in Karaj, while Fatemeh Abbasi is in Evin Prison.
