The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy has issued a statement threatening a "firm response" to any military vessels attempting to pass through the Strait of Hormuz. The statement did not specify which navy it was addressing.
Iran's Speaker of Parliament, Ghalibaf, stated that following a ceasefire, the country responded to U.S. military actions in the Persian Gulf, including an incident involving an American helicopter and attacks on two U.S. warships attempting to pass through the Strait of Hormuz, while also targeting airports from which enemy fighter jets took off.
Iran continued using an IRGC-linked Boeing 747 (EP-FAB, Qeshm Fars Air) for at least seven confirmed weapons missions to Port Sudan, despite previous exposure.
