Mohammad-Baqer Zolfaqar, a former senior commander in the Revolutionary Guards, has been appointed secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, replacing Ali Larijani.
Iran's Speaker of Parliament, Ghalibaf, stated that following a ceasefire, the country responded to U.S. military actions in the Persian Gulf, including an incident involving an American helicopter and attacks on two U.S. warships attempting to pass through the Strait of Hormuz, while also targeting airports from which enemy fighter jets took off.
Iran continued using an IRGC-linked Boeing 747 (EP-FAB, Qeshm Fars Air) for at least seven confirmed weapons missions to Port Sudan, despite previous exposure. Sudan’s military, with ties to the Muslim Brotherhood and the IRGC, is reportedly scaling back Iranian arms purchases to improve relations with the Trump administration.
Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters of the IRGC claims that Israel has violated the southern Lebanon ceasefire 84 times in two days since President Trump declared the war over. The command warned that continued Israeli strikes will result in a "harsh" response from Iran’s armed forces.
