Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, the Speaker of Parliament, wrote on X that a complete ceasefire is only valid if it is not breached by a naval blockade, economic hostage-taking, or Israeli aggression, and emphasized that reopening the Strait of Hormuz is impossible under current violations of the ceasefire. He also stated that military aggression and bullying will not achieve their goals, and the only solution is to accept the rights of the Iranian nation.
Alireza Mohajer, Secretary-General of the Workers' House, announced on Wednesday that more than 700,000 jobs have been lost in Iran due to the recent war with America and Israel, with 130,000 people directly unemployed and 600,000 job opportunities indirectly lost.
Mehdi Mohammadi, advisor to Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, the Speaker of Parliament, wrote on X that the extension of the ceasefire by Donald Trump is akin to bombardment and requires a military response. Hours later, Tasnim News Agency, affiliated with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, stated that Mohammadi's views do not necessarily reflect Ghalibaf's position.
