IRGC Navy Commander Alireza Tangsiri declared that all ships must seek Iran’s permission to pass through the Strait of Hormuz, threatening that vessels ignoring Tehran’s orders “will be caught.” Since the conflict began, at least 14 ships have been struck by projectiles, including the Thai bulk carrier Mayuree Naree, the Marshall Islands-flagged Star Gwyneth, and the Japan-flagged container ship One Majesty, bringing the total to three more incidents this week.
