U.S. President Donald Trump announced a three-day ceasefire in the war between Russia and Ukraine, effective May 9th to 11th, coinciding with Victory Day celebrations in both countries. The ceasefire includes a suspension of all kinetic activity and a prisoner swap of 1,000 prisoners from each side, agreed upon by Presidents Vladimir Putin and Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
