The Secretariat of the Supreme National Security Council of the Islamic Republic confirmed the killing of Ali Larijani, the Council's Secretary, along with his son Morteza Larijani, Secretariat Security Deputy Alireza Bayat, and several bodyguards. Tasnim News Agency, affiliated with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, reported that Vahid Fatemi-Nejad, head of Ali Larijani's security team, was also among the fatalities.
